The TLC Source launched the damn thing!

If you caught the launch post for Thrive Legal Care, maybe you remember that I’d said you’d be hearing more about Sharon in the coming months? Well, it’s finally time to announce another piece of her puzzle!

With the Thrive site launch done, it was time to focus on finishing out the build for her contract shop, The TLC Source.

This is THE Source for legal contract templates aimed specifically at the Health & Wellness industry.

Here’s what Sharon says about her journey from being an attorney to creating her own law practice, a contract shop, …and more:

“Between 2005 and 2019, I made my mark helping Canada’s top healthcare executives, practitioners, and policy thought leaders enhance their legal and business strategy to be world-class innovators in patient care, clinical education, research and public protection.

After nearly 15 years, I decided to leave law to become a nutritionist.

And I was pulled back into law along the way (it was 2020; things were weird!). I’m not sure if that’s an epic win or an epic fail. In any case, my family is very confused amused proud!

In addition to creating two niche legal businesses serving the health and wellness industry — The TLC Source and Thrive Legal Care — I run a nutrition business called Wellcome Home.“

When she began the switch from law to nutrition, she realized there were so many legal pitfalls along the way where most health & wellness business owners needed guidance.

Fellow classmates in her nutrition program were asking her so many questions, knowing she had real-life law experience in the industry. She realized she couldn’t leave law completely and abandon this gap in the market that desperately needed to be filled in order to help other people in the same position.

The TLC Source fills that gap with DIY legal templates that come with lifetime updates for the Health & Wellness industries with contracts for:

If you need more legal help, you can inquire with her through Thrive Legal Care knowing you’d be in good hands because she’s been in the same seat as you, building a health & wellness business of her own from the eyes and mind of an experienced law career, –but with the heart of someone who wants to help you navigate unfamiliar waters successfully.

Website Features

Like with Thrive Legal Care, Sharon came to me with her branding for The TLC Source complete with colors picked, fonts chosen & licenses purchased, and even with professional brand photoshoots booked. (Did I mention she’s basically Wonder Woman?)

At this stage, we’d already done the site for Thrive Legal Care, and this one was meant to be its sibling, so styling & layouts were much the same, except for the addition of about 30 templates in the shop.

To accomplish her vision, we kept the same feel so The TLC Source would feel like its extension, then we added some extras to accommodate the shop:

  • implemented a custom cart & product delivery system for the Legal Care Packages™ which allow a choice from 4 different payment plans

  • customized product listing accordions for all shop items to help keep info clear, organized & simple

  • customized, on-brand lightbox forms

  • interactive slides to showcase all the different ways Sharon can help

  • interactive on-page tabs to hide/show whole sections of info

  • customized FAQs, link hover animations, and more!

  • and customized section dividers

But now it’s time to stop talking about it and do a show & tell!
