HomePro NanoCeramic launched the damn thing!

Why is designing for yourself so effin' hard??! Even the pros experience this phenomenon.

I like to think of it as the blank slate problem.

When I was in college, my drawing professor used to have us start on blank sheets doing things like drawing 'blind,' meaning: without watching what our hand was doing & only looking at the model. We also drew with our non-dominant hand, did complete sketches in 30 seconds, did complete sketches without lifting our charcoal off the paper, and even started on black paper with colored pencils –all in an effort to get past the terrifying blankness of that sheet of paper.

I guess it must've worked because now I start websites with blank pages every single time! #ThanksMrsHarmon

There's just so much possibility on a blank page, and yet... that many options can leave us wide-eyed and running for the hills. Without an outside perspective to see things from a distance, we're usually too close to it to make clear-cut decisions without some help.

As an example of that, let's take a look at one of my client's sites that just launched this summer.

This week I’m celebrating the final piece of the debut for HomePro NanoCeramic’s website & shop! It’s been a long time coming, and owners Kathy & Ron are so excited to get this out into the world.

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with Kathy & Ron to finish out their website & help them launch it to the world. They are a joy to work with, super laid back, and always full of (the best kinds of) questions!

They came to me needing help with their DIY website. Kathy had started building it, they had branding already in the works, and had even put in some content in several of the pages, but promptly got stuck with the ‘how to make it look professional’ part. That’s where she happily asked me to step in & take over!

what Kathy says:

Our business is new and a new concept for homeowners, so we needed a dynamic, professional website to present to prospective customers.

Katelyn is friendly and kind. She is easy to work with and patient with our never-ending questions and hiccups.

She created a beautiful, dynamic, and professional website for our new business, HomePro NanoCeramic, by quickly condensing and focusing our ideas. We were frustrated because we knew we needed a professional website to start. Still, we wasted precious time and energy trying to do it ourselves, falsely thinking it was too expensive to hire a professional. We needed to Launch the Damn Thing, and Katelyn did just that! With her help, we were able to take our vision and create a brand that makes us proud.

We could have never done this on our own. We know because we tried!

What is HomePro NanoCeramic?

Kathy & Ron primarily sell an in-home application service for their permanent sealant product that fills any porous surfaces & coats them in a glass-like seal to protect them from dirt, stains, fingerprints, and more.

Basically, it’s a clear but diamond-hard ceramic sealant that protects many of our most expensive hard surfaces, from granite or marble countertops (& many other types too), to stainless steel dishwashers, outdoor kitchen appliances, furniture, bathroom sinks and tiles, and even water feature tiles!

Because it protects so well, anything coated with it needs less cleaning and definitely less elbow grease to clean it, meaning their customers need fewer cleaners and have less time spent cleaning in general!

If I didn’t live so far away from Florida, I’d definitely want them to come coat #allthethings at my house!!

What they offer:
As I said, they primarily offer an in-home service, but as of this week, they also have a small shop selling their DIY products so you can do this at home. These DIY options aren’t as permanent, but still lasts a long time and they’re really excited to be able to provide this for people outside of their serviceable area!
